What we collect

When you use Lumena, we collect the following information:

• Your email address (used for login and account communication)
• Conversation history between you and your companion
• Memories extracted from your conversations (facts, emotional patterns, significant moments)
• Your subscription and payment information (processed by Stripe)
• Your timezone and basic usage data

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Lumena companion experience. Specifically:

• Conversation history and memories allow your companion to remember you and grow over time
• Your email is used for account access, purchase receipts, and important service updates
• Usage data helps us understand how to make Lumena better

Third-party services

Lumena uses the following trusted services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI conversation engine
• Stripe — payment processing
• ElevenLabs — voice generation
• Replicate — companion photo generation
• Resend — transactional emails

Each service has its own privacy policy. Your conversation content is sent to Anthropic to generate responses but is not used by Anthropic to train their models.

We do not sell your data

Your personal information, conversations, and memories are never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Your relationship with your companion is private.

Data retention

Your data is stored as long as your account is active. Free tier memories are retained for 7 days. Paid tier memories are retained indefinitely while your subscription is active.

Deleting your data

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will delete your profile, all companions, conversation history, memories, and photos within 30 days of your request.
